I was running it on Windows 7, and have tried the way to reset the configuration and reinstalled it. Both ways don’t work either. https://i.imgur.com/a99zxxq.jpg SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Krita 4.2.0/Windows 7
Hi Kamic, That's a weird font problem... Does it go away if you reset Krita's settings? (https://docs.krita.org/en/KritaFAQ.html#resetting-krita-configuration)

Reinstalled and reset it many times, not work.
https://steamcommunity.com/app/280680/discussions/0/1648791520833987665/ I found another user has the same issue on the Steam forum.
Reinstalling won't reset the settings, though... Does it start to work if you change back to Chinese in Krita? Could you also check whether there's a file called klanguageoverriderc somewhere on your system?
Unfortunately, It doesn't work no matter what language I choose. I know that reinstalling won't reset the settings, I deleted kritarc and kritadisplayrc many times as well. BTW, I didn't find any file named kritaopenglrc in the folder. klanguageoverriderc is surely located in the same folder with kritarc.
Hm... I'm pretty sure it's not related to Steam -- that should be exactly the same binary, but could you perhapds test with the portable zip build from https://download.kde.org/stable/krita/4.2.1 ?
Good news, 4.2.1 works fine for me. I also downloaded portable zip build version 4.2.0, same issue.
ah, then the 4.2.1 update that should come to steam tonight should also fix the issue for you!
Thank you very much for the help!
You're welcome!
