SUMMARY


STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Cut the clip on the timeline using Razor Tool.
2. Enable the selection tool.
3. Click on the time selection area at the top of the timeline to change the position of the projector's playhead

OBSERVED RESULT
The playhead does not react and does not move to the selected location.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
 UbuntStudio 18.04.1 x64


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
The playback head starts working only after you select some clip on the timeline.

As it has been a while since this was reported, can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved.

Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 20.12.2 https://download.kde.org/stable/kdenlive/20.12/linux/
