SUMMARY
Currently it's not possible to mark text while editing it. 

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Select Text tool.
2. Create new text. Write some random content.
3. Press shift+arrow keys

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing happens.

EXPECTED RESULT
Text gets marked.
