SUMMARY This is the case when I can't tell if this is a bug or a feature. It didn't use to be like this and I can't use it the way I'd like to. STEPS TO REPRODUCE I generated scripts because I have more flexibility in the terminal. I could schedule them and decide what to do after that. If I click on the 'Generate Script' button, it asks for the name of this rendering. I also see the pending renderings in the 'Scripts' tab but I don't get a shell script (something.sh) EXPECTED RESULT Either asks for the location of the script or place it automatically to a sane location. (the former is more reasonable) SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.5 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.58.0 Qt Version: 5.12.3 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Have a nice day :)
The scripts are stored: Linux: /home/username/Documents/scripts/ Windows: C:/Users/username/Documents/scripts. We can change the bug to wishlist if you think we should be able to choose the folder where a script should be stored.
Yes, sure, let's change this bug report into a wishlist. In fact I've had a scripts folder in Documents for a long time which has nothing to do with kdenlive and I don't want to mix up my stuff there. I don't get it. Kdenlive used to ask the destination folder!
Thank you for the feedback. Changed to wishlist.
