Description tusooa 2019-05-23 04:36:35 UTC
SUMMARY
The width of the sidebar will not be kept after restarting.
A phenomenon that happens to master, but not 4.1.1. Probably a Qt 5.12 bug.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Start Krita
2. Turn on some dockers, put them all to the left. Make them wider than default.
3. Restart Krita

OBSERVED RESULT
The width of these dockers are smaller.

EXPECTED RESULT
The width should be the same as before.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Windows: 10
macOS:
Linux/KDE Plasma:
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version:
KDE Frameworks Version:
Qt Version: 5.12.2

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
It seems the dockers prefer to occupy as small space as possible.

Yes... I hesitate to call this a bug, and if it is a bug, it's in Qt, which does the geometry storing and restoring. There isn't anything we can do here!

setting this as resolved upstream then.
