SUMMARY
clicking on a browser link to install an app installs straight away but without user feedback

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. click on apstream://org.kde.blinken URL
2. bar at top of discover doesn't show anything except button with unreadable text
3. then launch buttons show

It should give some feedback that it is installing.

Whoa, it is definitely not supposed to auto-install. I cannot reproduce the behavior listed in this bug in Neon dev. Clicking on an appstream:// link opens Discover with the app page, and does not auto-install anything, While loading, it displays a screen that says, "Loading...". There could be a busy indicator there, but it definitely shows feedback.

If you can consistently reproduce this, a screen recording would be helpful

You're right it does not auto-install.

It shows the grey text button as in the image attached above. Then it shows the Install button or Launch button as appropriate.

But the bug report is still true, there is no feedback on what it's doing.

Can you attach a screen recording please?

How about a screen *recording*? I ask because from that screenshot is't not 100% clear to me what's happening, and I also don't see the same behavior myself.

Top part of screenshot is what is shown for some seconds, after a while it turns into second part of screenshot
