Description BingMyBong 2019-05-22 07:59:09 UTC
SUMMARY
After running a bulk manual filter on IMAP Inbox, it sometimes leaves a random number as an Unread count - always different and never matches the original Unread count before the filter
STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Allow all emails to be delivered to IMAP inbox
2. Select all in Inbox (includes already read)
3. Click Apply All Filters

OBSERVED RESULT
Emails all go to correct folders but inbox is left with a false unread count of random value although there are no unread emails there. You can close kmail and relaunch and most times the false Unread count is still there.

EXPECTED RESULT
No unread count on Inbox after successful filter.
