Description markuss 2019-05-19 12:11:46 UTC
SUMMARY

Shortly after launching Plasma 5.16 beta, some part of Plasma either crashes or hangs. Hitting shortcuts like Ctrl+Esc or PrintScr seems to trigger that issue sooner.

User-visible problems so far are: KSNI systray icons vanish, Ctrl+Esc, PrintScr, etc. no longer work.

There's no crash error message. I tried running plasmashell from terminal an on occasion I get

QQuickItem::stackAfter: Cannot stack StatusNotifierItem_QMLTYPE_288(0x55766e4bd070, parent=0x55766d6e8400, geometry=0,0 0x0) after StatusNotifierItem_QMLTYPE_288(0x55766dd3f790), which must be a sibling

after a while.
