Created attachment 120124 [details] pattern_issue_3.png SUMMARY krita-x64-4.2.0-beta2.zip Win7 x64 Start up krita and make a new document and/or paint a bit on the canvas. Then click the pattern drop-down in the toolbar and select a pattern. User will notice, that the AUI(Advanced User Interface) QT docking widget system has changed and cannot be resized back to what it should have been. The User then needs to Close[X] the program and restart it in order to resize the layout again. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start krita and make a document 2. Click on pattern in drop-down pattern tool in toolbar 3. If GUI layout changes, try and resize and notice sizers have become locked OBSERVED RESULT See *.png attachment EXPECTED RESULT Just change a pattern, not change the workspace layout and then being frozen/modified until a program restart.
It appears from the screenshot, that when the update event takes place, that the code forced all the text(docker tabs) in the auto-notebook tabs to be completely visible... instead of Pal... it becomes Palette, etc, etc..
This should be fixed in Krita 4.2.2, where the label for the pattern resource selector in the pattern docker gets squeezed if it's too long.
Ill test when I get a copy of 4.2.2 official and get back. Thanks.
