SUMMARY Pen right-click color picking does not work as expected on Surface Pro 4. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Configure Krita -> Canvas Input Settings -> Alternate Invocation -> bind "Right Click" to "Pick foreground color from merged image" 2. Configure Krita -> Tablet Settings -> Tablet input API -> set as described below 3. Hold pen button, make the pen tip touch the tablet screen and drag. OBSERVED RESULT (1)WinTab, check "Use mouse events for right- and middle-clicks" Draws a trace. At the same time, the color is picked from the image after drawing. (2)WinTab, uncheck Draws a trace. No color is picked. (3)Windows Ink, check Doesn't draw a trace. No color is picked. (It is only picked when the tip does not move.) (4)Windows Ink, uncheck Doesn't draw a trace. The color is picked. For all four cases, mouse right-click behaves as expected. EXPECTED RESULT In all four cases, the pen should not draw a trace, and the color should be picked. This also happens in 4.1.1. Not a regression.
Does it also still happen in 4.3.0-beta1? See https://download.kde.org/unstable/krita/4.3.0-beta1/ . I cannot test this anymore, since Wolthera has my Surface Pro.
