SUMMARY When rendering to Flash video (.flv) format, the audio track is not created. The video portion is okay, but no audio data is included in the file. When rendering to audio MP3 format only, a "rendering crashed" message is displayed in the job queue dialog window. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Open a project 2. Open render dialog 3. Select either Flash video format or MP3 audio format 4. Render to file OBSERVED RESULT Flash video contains the video track, but does not contain an audio track. MP3 results in a "rendering crashed" message and no file is created. EXPECTED RESULT Flash video should contain both audio and video streams MP3 file should be created and contain audio stream SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Kdenlive Version 19.04.1 Using: MLT version 6.15.0 FFmpeg libraries KDE Frameworks 5.51.0 Qt 5.11.2 (built against 5.11.2) The xcb windowing system ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I am running this on PoP_OS from System76 I am running the AppImage of kdenlive
Confirmed. It works under Windows 19.04.1 but with the AppImage 19.04.1 I get the same error. I opened issue: https://invent.kde.org/kde/kdenlive/issues/186
I tested with AppImage 20.12.0 and FLV and MP3 working as expected including audio track. Plese check as well.
