When triaging https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=401446, I created a document following the reporter's instructions. If you go down the layer stack and actually set transforms on the transform masks, Krita will start using up one core completely and at some point refuse to finish the projection recalculation. There is no way the image be saved now, not even when selecting "Save without waiting". Cancel operation and save, and close, do not save also don't work. Closing krita and selecting "do not save" still pops up the "Wainting for image operation to complete" dialog, and you have to kioll Krita
Dmitry, this one is for you. It's probably not a release blocker, though, it's I guess always been this way.
Hi, Boud! I cannot reproduce the problem anymore. Perhaps the document was just too large and the recalculation took too long? I've attached a document that I created for testing the problem.

Since I cannot reproduce the bug anymore, I'll mark the bug as needsinfo
We've done a bunch of work in this area, so let's just close.
