STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. add to desktop a shortcut to Sweeper system cleaner
2. use the shortcut on desktop to open Sweeper
3. 

OBSERVED RESULT
plasma freezes (clicks on panel and desktop have no effect)

EXPECTED RESULT
plasma does not freeze

Operating System: KDE neon Unstable Edition
KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.80
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.58.0
Qt Version: 5.12.0


ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Also reproducible on Arch Linux.
Plasma does not freeze when Sweeper is started via the apps launcher

I can't reproduce this behavior anymore.
