The problem was that the binary find tool on Windows did not append the "exe" extension. You have to search Gimp manually in Windows. Maik

And the drop box of the file type is only showing gimp2.8 (I hope it is clearwhat I mean, it hard for me to describe)

I am searching Gimp in the program file directory (and there in Gimp 2 and then in /bin where the gimp-2.10.exe file is located. Entering gimp-2.10.exe manually is only working when I enter it right in the beginning of the file search window and then going to the correct subdirectory. If I do it vice-versa the gimp-2.10.exe is not shown. But it will still not work.
