Dolphin file manager: no file transfer progress bar/window

I'm using Dolphin 18.12.3 on Ubuntu 19.04 and since the last Ubuntu upgrade there is no more progress bar/window when transferring files. I am aware that KDE has sort of centralised all such progresses in one place and therefore disabled it within Dolphin file manager. Is there any way to enable the progress bar again in Dolphin or alternatively does Ubuntu have a similar place (like KDE) where to see the progress outside of Dolphin?

When transferring large amounts of data seeing the progress is indispensable. Any help is appreciated. Thanks

It's easy to change this behavior in KDE - in GNOME, the file transfer dialog should theoretically always appear. Because of a bug, it didn't. This has luckily been fixed recently: https://phabricator.kde.org/D20465. That means that you'll get the update eventually but that will probably only happen with Ubuntu 19.10.

Please reopen this bug report if the problem does still happen even with a newer version of KIO (so KDE Frameworks). Thanks & have a nice day!
