I've installed konversation-1.7-6-windows-msvc2017_64-cl.exe on Windows 10. Everything seems to work, except the notifications. I do not get a popup like I would get on KDE. I'm pretty sure Qt has support for system notifications. This makes Konversation a bit less useful. Knowing when somebody "pinged you" is something relatively important.
Same problem happening here.
Can't believe this seems to be an issue since 2019! Just discovered Konversation and it was literally perfect in all aspects -- EXCEPT for the fact that Notifications aren't working on Windows :/ I opened a bug ticket myself, but just finding this one and seeing it being open for 4 years soon just killed any hope I had for this being fixed :( Text-to-Speech is actually working, and Traybar highlighting also, but no Popup is shown (only for messages and stuff, not DCC), and most of the other notification types don't work either :/
Windows builds are created by the KDE build service, there are no Windows-based Konversation developers.

(In reply to argonel from comment #3) > Windows builds are created by the KDE build service, there are no > Windows-based Konversation developers. Oh, didn't know :O So, no chance of this being looked into at all? There's no problem with the code per se, just that it's not behaving as expected and could use a little manual tweaking 😇 Also, other KDE programs, like Kate and KDenLive work perfectly fine on Windows :)
