STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Drag clip into timeline 2. Add Position and Zoom effect 3. Choose point within clip and hit + button to add a keyframe OBSERVED RESULT Project monitor turns black (red boundary box and target are present however) EXPECTED RESULT Clip with added effect shown in project monitor SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: 5.51.0 Qt Version: 5.11.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I've tried this on 2 different computers (both running Ubuntu 18.04.2 LTS) with Kdenlive versions 19.04.0, 19.04.1-37e7f8a and 19.04.1-2607f52 (AppImage)
Sometimes when disabling the effect and adding a second version of the Position and Zoom effect I can get it to display right, behaviour seems random though and hard to reproduce consistently.
Hi guys, I have the same situation when using Position and Zoom, the project monitor screen just turns BLACK. Issue is ALWAYS reproducible in Arch Linux (KDE Plasma) and Windows 10. I have troubleshooted a lot but no workaround as of yet. - Kdenlive version: 19.04.0 - nVidia 1080 ti, Driver 430.64
Issue should be fixed. Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 19.04.1b https://files.kde.org/kdenlive/release/
Hi guys, I've just tested with several videos in both Arch/Plasma and Windows 10 (OSs fully updated) with Kdenlive 19.04.1 and the ISSUE PERSISTS, it has not been fixed yet. In Windows 10 at least the project screen is visible but in the final rendered video it only shows a white screen on the part the Position and Zoom effect has been applied. Please dig deeper on that, thanks in advance! PD. I troubleshooted by deleting the Kdenliverc and cache video configuration but it DIDN'T help at all.
