SUMMARY The command "kdiff3 dir1 dir2" used to work, but now it doesn't. STEPS TO REPRODUCE Assuming you have two directories, dir1 and dir2, run "kdiff3 dir1 dir2" in the terminal. OBSERVED RESULT kdiff3 displays the diff of the two directories in the GUI, and shows a modal dialog telling you a summary of the comparison. However, once you dismiss the dialog box, the diff disappears and kdiff3 complete forgets about these two directories. EXPECTED RESULT Dismissing the dialog box should not cause the diff to disappear. Instead, the user should be able to navigate the diff to see what the individual differences are. (This was the old behavior, which broke within the last year or so.)
