SUMMARY The behavior of double clicking on file name in File Search result is silly: It closes the opened search results (subitems of the tree) for the file but double clicking again does not open them again. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS KDE Frameworks Version: 5.56.0 Qt Version: 5.12.2
I assume the report is about the "Search and Replace" plugin. I'm using KDE Neon user edition with self compiled KTextEditor and Kate and I cannot reproduce... Are you using Wayland?
Yes, this plugin. Under Gnome. I don't use Wayland.
Kåre, is this about mouse handling in QTreeWidget, which depends on platform-depended style settings for e.g. double-click activation?
Christof, yes I suspect that the problem might be the platform-dependent style settings for QTreeWidget., but I do not have Gnome installed to test...
I would like to have it working by single click. Not only expand and collapse but also to jump to some hit
I've just tested this on kate from git master and I cannot reproduce this issue. Can you please test and confirm if this issue is still occurring or if this bug report can be marked as resolved. I'm setting status to "needsinfo" pending your response, please change back to "reported" when you respond, thanks.
