Ah, Huion is a bit of a problem with macOS -- at least my test device doesn't work with either corel painter or krita. Btw, we're working on nightlies for macOS: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Krita_Nightly_MacOS_Build/ - and if that works, you should give them a try. We did improve tablet support quite a bit for all three platforms.

I'm afraid that this is the best we can do when it comes to supporting Huion on macOS. They really need to fix their drivers.

In my experience, xp-pen is horrible, even worse than huion.
Comment 9 Nicho 2019-10-09 11:49:49 UTC

Comment 10 Halla Rempt 2019-10-09 13:52:09 UTC
For macOS, it's difficult to recommend anything but Wacom. MacOS has a tiny market-share and runs on expensive hardware, so the 2nd tier tablet makers more or less feel that there isn't much of a market for cheap display tablets there.

Theoretically, the most trusted option should be an iPad Pro with a pencil in tablet modus. I believe Apple added that recently, but I haven't tested it myself.

They will be dropping 32bit and I would lose access to my photoshop and my 3d program. Plus all The Steam Programs and Games I have.
