SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Insert clip into project bin 2. Right click on clip -> "Clip jobs -> Automatic scene split -> Cut scenes" 3. Scenes are detected, cut and filed under the clip in the Project Bin 4. Saving the project 5. Closing Kdenlive 6. Opening the project 7. All scenes have vanished OBSERVED RESULT Split scenes are not saved with the project EXPECTED RESULT Split scenes get saved with the project SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux Mint 18.3 64 bit MLT 6.15 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.51.0 Qt Version: 5.11.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION If instead of "cut scenes" choosing "Add clip markers" these markers are saved with the project.

I added two screenshots (can't upload Clips that are larger than 4 MB) The first screenshot Shows in the Project bin all the split Clips. The shot was made before Closing the Project. The second shot was made after re-opening the Project. There all the split Scenes are gone in the Project bin. The markers are still there though.

Thanks, emohr! I tried it with the 19.04 appimage on Linux Mint and with the installed 19.04 on Windows 10. Same results.
It seems thist bug is solved with 19.04.1
