Description lunibackup 2019-04-27 07:00:33 UTC
SUMMARY
The canvas freezes, the brush stops moving when opening the popup palette after switching to a different layer when using a tablet. This didn't happen before. The problem gets fixed after doing [Configure Krita > Display > Check and uncheck the "Use texture buffer" option]. The canvas freezes again if the steps are repeated.

I've tried doing the same with just my touchpad and the same freeze doesn't occur.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE (On tablet)
1. Open or make a new file.
2. Open the popup palette.
3. Switch to a different layer.
4. Open the popup palette again.

OBSERVED RESULT
The canvas becomes unusable, no tools work. Functionality is restored after toggling a setting in Display (even without clicking Ok to confirm changes).

Could you test this in the latest appimage? (Download page, in the bottom where it says "krita Next" https://krita.org/en/download/krita-desktop/) As this bug seems to be alredy fixed (BUG: 396034)
