Steps to reproduce: * Disable the "Present Windows" effect so that clicking the icons in latte dock would show window previews similar to those of MS windows (System Settings -> Desktop Behavior -> Desktop Effects -> Uncheck "Present Windows"). * Open many windows of the same application. * Click the application's icon. Expected behavior: should show the window previews as soon as the click is released. Actual behavior: sometimes, it doesn't show the window previews until the mouse is hovered above the icon, into the space where the previews are generated. Reproducible: sometimes, not sure what to do to make it reproducible.

This behavior was NOT taken into account in v0.8.x stable versions. There is dedicated FEATURE for this in Latte git version. You can set for Dock Settings the left click behavior to "Preview Windows". Is it possible to test git version and provide feedback if this is fixed?

Couldn't manage to get the build script to recognize all KF5 libraries as installed in debian through apt, so unfortunately no. Although, if I recall correctly, it has defaulted to show previews when "Present windows" is disabled since many versions ago, and was not aware it's a feature in development. Guess better close the issue and I'll reopen later if it's still present once this feature is delivered.
