SUMMARY Until yesterday I could connect my android smartphone with KDE connect to a certain PC (with Kubuntu 18.04). Then I had problems with the PC's wifi connection and I had to connect it via cable. The cable connects to the same network to which the smartphone connects via wifi. But they don't see each other. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. start KDE connect in Android, connected via wifi to network A 2. start KDE connect in Kubuntu 18.04, connected via cable to the network A 3. they don't see each other OBSERVED RESULT they don't see each other EXPECTED RESULT they should see each other SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: Kubuntu 18.04 KDE Frameworks 5.44.0 Qt 5.9.5 (built against 5.9.5) ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Today KDE connect works (between the PC connected via cable and the smartphone connected via wifi): the only difference between yesterday and today is the installation of "vino" package.
For two days (23-4 and 24-4) I was able to connect PC and smartphone via KDE connect. Yesterday and today (same situation of network, but) no: the PC is connected via cable and smartphone via wifi to the same network, but they don't see each other.
No connection today as well. I tried to unpair: nothing to do, they don't see each other, even connected to the same network (wifi).
The (KDE connect) connection came back, when I disconnected the PC from cable connection, lòeaving only wifi connection.
