SUMMARY

Burning from an iso image, everything went ok up to showing the progress window.
Here, the upper window indicated the start of writing, but in the lower part
the progress indicators remained at zero.
I was thinking that the process was hung, when a pop-up briefly appeared enunciating that the image had been burnt, then a brief pop that no medium was found, and immediately after that the image hsd been checked successfully (I had checked for that option).
Browsing the content, it looks ok, but being a bootable dvd (supergrub2) I didn't test it yet.

I can't confirm with k3b 18.12.3 on Arch Linux.
See the attached screenshot.

I made an additional trial (with a rw disc): this time the progress indicator blocked in between.
Attached are the screenshots I could take.
