Description James Cain 2019-04-15 04:16:34 UTC
SUMMARY:

When making a backup profile for backing up files to removable media (i.e. USB), I want to select slightly less than the size of my USB drive - say 11,000 MB for a 12 GB USB drive. I can not do this, however, since Kbackup will only allow a maximum of 4,096 MB to be entered.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Make a new backup profile
2. Select the 'maximum archive size' field and attempt to enter a practical value for today's storage mediums and sizes, say 12,000 MB

OBSERVED RESULT
The selector will only allow a maximum of 4,096 MB

EXPECTED RESULT
Kbackup should allow any custom size the user could want, since media comes in many sizes today. Also, since 'unlimited is a viable - albeit perhaps dangerous - choice, then allowing the user to select a size that best matches their hardware and situation would seem practical.
