Open the folder you selected OBSERVED RESULT Folder is empty EXPECTED RESULT Folder contains .json and other folders SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: 10 Pro macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Krita is up to date and the bug has been replicated many times, even after reinstalling Krita.
I am somewhat sad that you reported a bug and didn't check first whether changing the folder that you're trying to create this file in allows any file creation by Krita as I pointed out in the forum thread. I will absolutely need this information, and whether you can get it to work in the my documents folder to fix this bug at all.
I can confirm that creating a project works, on Windows, in the My Documents folder.

It does not work when I do it with the My Documents folder either.
Okay it's now working in the documents folder
