SUMMARY STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Install latest latte-dock-git (based on PKGBUILD in AUR) 2. Restart latte 3. Open any window and double click on a panel where window title applet or the empty space between global menu and systray is. OBSERVED RESULT Nothing happens. EXPECTED RESULT A focused window should maximize/unmaximize on panel's double click. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Manjaro Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.56.0 Qt Version: 5.12.2 Kernel Version: 5.0.7-1-MANJARO OS Type: 64-bit Processors: 8 × Intel® Core™ i7-6700HQ CPU @ 2.60GHz Memory: 7,7 GiB ADDITIONAL INFORMATION Downgrading to the git build that I did on 30.03.2019 fixes the issue so the bug happened somewhere between 31.03-13.04. I learned to relay on this double click as it's super convienient because there is a big surface area where I can double click vs. small unmaximize/maximize buttons, So for me this a very important regression.

I ticked it and now all works as expected. I'm not sure if downgrading now will show me if the setting has changed during the update. For others reading this topic: latte settings on the panel->Behaviour Tab-> mark the setting box "Drag and maximize/restore active window" OK, so this was a false alarm, double-clicking works correctly now on the new build, only that setting was somehow altered during the update or maybe in the older version it worked regardless and now it behaves as it should? Uh.. Nevermind.
