SUMMARY most of the times when I'm working with my pen even when pen isn't touching the screen brushes keep drawing. most of the times it takes selected brush a while to start drawing. it's particularly annoying to go back and forth between eraser and brush. What brand of tablet are you using?

Hm, that's curious, because my main system is the predecessor (920) and I don't have that problem, not in Windows and not in Linux. In Windows, what have you selected in Krita's settings dialog, tablet page: wintab or windows 8 pointer api? Does it make a differerence if you install the latest nightly build? Not much difference in lagging but some improvement on drawing without touch. I will report back after installing the latest nightly build. Thank you.
