Thank you Albrecht, is it possible to see the Access file? E.g. via email?

Are you able to open the imported file after restarting KEXI?

No, I think its the same old issue. I cannot open any kexi file from a
filebrowser and also not from inside kexi.

I cannot send the mdb-file from data-securitiy reasons. I have only this file. I
could open it with older versions.

OK do you say it's the same bug as #396999?

What mesage do you see?
Please read the comments of that bug and especially compare to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=396999#c17. There is also workaround for you.

PS: that bug was believed to be fixed in January and we've released Beta and then been waiting until April to see any reports. I do not know what is quality assurance of Arch :)

PS2: Your alternave KEXI installation is here: https://community.kde.org/Kexi/Snapshots#Linux

With all the respect, changed the Importance to normal. Critical level would not speed up resolution I think, and Critical would fit more to severe security or data loss bugs, not to issues like this one. It is hard to generally say what kinds of reports have assured faster fixes, apart from reports coming from paying customers.
