Created attachment 119312 [details] screenshot of the request to file a bug by dolphin KDEconnect correctly launches and is active both on mobile device (Sony XZ2C with latest updates) and on laptop OS (Kubuntu 18.04 LTS) at startup, and the connection is made. Dolphin correctly displays my smartphone device in the left shortcuts panel, however after opening it when I click on folder icon towards "All Files" this bug is displayed. It usually happens randomly on and off and is not too much of a nuisance because it "resolves" quickly, actually as I am typing to file this but things have gone back to normal. It seems to be forewarned by an impossibility of copying files on the device, sometimes only in sub-folders, as if these were on read only (chmod r--) for some reason. I suspect this comes from Google's Android design, but who knows ? Also, I use no SD card, this happens with the root filesystem of the smartphone.
Hi Sylvain, Can you confirm if this is still happening using the latest versions of kdeconnect (both desktop and android). If yes could you please check if there are any errors in logcat?
I am copying a few music albums and it seems to work flawlessly, at least for this time. KDEConnect 1.12.6 on mobile KDEConnect 1.3.3 on desktop The latest version of the desktop app does not feature in the LTS Kubuntu's repositories, if there's an error again I'll update to the latest version and see. I've also been willing to try FreeBSD, with Plasma, and just received today « Absolute FreeBSD 3rd edition » published last year.
