SUMMARY kde-print-manager ask user/password if I change some options. If tried my user/password and root/password but It wont work STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. I open kde-print-manager 2. I try configure some printer 3. My credentials are not accepted OBSERVED RESULT Doing `kdesu systemsettings5`works Gnome system-printer-manager accept my credentials I Added users in SystemGroup -sudo nano /etc/cups/cups-files.conf -SystemGroup root sys users EXPECTED RESULT User/password dialog accepts my credentials SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: Opensuse Tumbleweed Updated (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.56 Qt Version: 5.12.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
We believe this has been fixed in the lastest Plasma5 and the recently released Plasma6. Can you try again and report back? Thx
