Description Marcus Harrison 2019-04-07 22:11:18 UTC
SUMMARY

Certain programs, after a crash, provide no further information in KCrash than the message, "segmentation fault". Attempting to install debugging symbols from KCrash does nothing and installing debugging symbols manually doesn't produce more useful output.

Since this relies on arbitrary software crashing it's difficult to reproduce correctly. This has happened most frequently to me with Akonadi-based services but has also happened with other programs (I will update this bug with these programs when I find them).

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS

(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.4
