SUMMARY
The kpatience game freecell has been "different" since approx. March 1 - slow to move cards, slow to complete "solver", maxing out 1 of 4 CPU (Intel Cores i5), sometimes (once out of 3 or 4 games) stalling and not terminating normally.
Using fully updated Fedora 29 on a Dell Latitude 3440 with 8 gigs DDR3 memory and 1T SSD.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Attempt to play Freecell 3 or 4 times to completion.

The CPU and memory utilization shown in the screen-cap for https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=405187 is indeed what I've been experiencing.
