SUMMARY
bug 346194 reported against kde4 affects plasma 5.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Using "Folder view" layout, right-click the desktop and select "Create New" -> "Link to Application..."
2. Click the "Application" tab.
3. Click "Advanced Options" button, check "Run in terminal" and "Do not close when command exits".  click "OK" button.
4. Click "Advanced Options" again.  The "Do not close when command exits" is still selected.  MAKE NO CHANGES and click "Cancel" button.
5. Click "Advanced Options" a third time.


OBSERVED RESULT  
This time the "Do not close when command exits" is no longer checked as it should be


EXPECTED RESULT
"Do not close when command exits" is still checked

What a crazy set of steps! Works for me though. Is it still bugged for you in the latest Frameworks?

it's still reproducible on neon unstable.
