Configure kmail to start in the systray -Go to Settings-> Startup and Shutdown-> Desktop Session ==> [On Login Section] select "Restore manually saved session" - Open kmail and close it by clicking X not by quitting, just to make sure it is still in the system tray (the icon is shown) - Close all applications that you don't want auto started/restored. - Click on application menu -> Power/session -> save session 2. I have updated two systems with opensuse tumbleweed updated to 5.11.0, but I don't understand very well how this option works. -In a laptop, kmail start automatically in background in systray. -In a desktop, kmail doesnt start automatically. I have to add it in System Settings\Autostart\Automatically Started Applications to work Both have ssd, but desktop is a bit faster, I don't know if it matters Thanks anyway
