Description pawel.veselov 2019-03-27 23:26:20 UTC
SUMMARY

Version 5.10.2
Fedora 29 distro

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open Settings->Configure Shortcuts
2. Try to configure an action to open on KPEnter (I wanted it to open the article in a browser)

OBSERVED RESULT
Upon pressing KPEnter for input, it shows "Numpad Enter, + ...", expecting some next key to be pressed, as if it's a modifier. No other bindings exist for KPEnter.

EXPECTED RESULT
Binding to KPEnter should work as normal as for any other key.

SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS
Linux/KDE Plasma: Fedora 28
(available in About System)
KDE Plasma Version: 5.14.5
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.55
Qt Version: 5.11.3

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Comment 1 Ricardo J. Barberis 2021-03-17 16:37:40 UTC
As of Akregator 5.16.3 (20.12.3) this behaviour is still present but it's not a problem with Akregator, it happens in other apps to that you can't assign KeyPadEnter as a shortcut.

I tried e.g. in Konsole and when I press KPEnter it adds it to the shortcut as if it was a modifier.

What's more, if I keep pressing KPEnter eventually the app crashes.
