SUMMARY

first off,
I am amazed by the development ! really a new stage...
so much thinking behind it, so much reorganization...
thank you, and congratulations...
I think we can celebrate the birth of a cool and professional video editing application... totally amazed...

- - -
as to the speed :) :)
like "effects: motion / speed"...

I am totally not surprised that it is not there at this moment !! :)
cause as there is SO MUCH RE-thinking...
this function can't just be left untouched :)

in any case, my suggestion -- I'm sure it is totally BANAL --
still, I think you know it better than anyone how
great it would be if SPEED and DIRECTION of playing
could be taken separately...

which is already NOT a new thing in kdenlive...
see "clip in project bin, right click, / clip jobs / duplicate clip with speed change"

--- hmm.... what I was about to refer to is missing...
the tickable "reverse" checkbox ... ---

in any case, this is NOT new in kdenlive...
so I'm only saying that it would be, indeed, GREAT if
speed and direction were handled separately...

very probably the should be two different effects...
but I'm only guessing...

in any case, THANKS and congratulations to this huge breakthrough !!!

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Please try with the upcoming Kdenlive refactoring version.

Kdenlive_Nightly_Appimage: https://binary-factory.kde.org/job/Kdenlive_Nightly_Appimage_Build/lastSuccessfulBuild/artifact/

right click on a clip in the timeline -> change speed -> there you have the "reverse clip" button. (implemented ca. 2 weeks ago)

Implemented in version 19.12 latest.
