I can't reproduce on my system at least on Wayland, the OSD appears as expected when I switch between keyboard layouts by pressing the main shortcut. Tested with en-us and pt-br layouts. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.4 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.57.0 Qt Version: 5.12.3

I confirm this bug under X in debian stable, which has an earlier plasma version than reported. Nevertheless, very annoying bug as I hide the taskbar and work with 4 different layouts...

Works for me on Wayland. If it's broken on X11 only, it could be the same as Bug 408928.
