Created attachment 118916 [details] Gwenview after opening an image from Opera in an already opened Gwenview (Image opened in 3rd window of Gwenview) SUMMARY I downloaded an image in Opera. I opened it. It opened in Gwenview as it's default image viewer. But Gwenview didn't open it properly. You can see how it opened it in attached image. It's actually Gwenview's windows but instead of showing that image it's showing opera in background. There were already 2 opened windows of Gwenview and Gwenview opened this image in 3rd window. It's not the first time it has happened to me. Though it works fine when opening an image manually through it or opening an image through a file manager like Dolphin or Nautilus. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux/KDE Plasma: 18.04 KDE Plasma Version: 5.12.7 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.47.0 Qt Version: 5.9.5 Linux kernel version : 4.15.0-46 and a 64bit OS of course

Can you attach the image itself?

This looks like graphical corruption. Are you using NVIDIA by any chance?

Thanks. Maybe a KWin issue given that the entire window content was painted wrong? Does it reproduce with compositing turned off?

After I suspended compositing, Gwenview perfectly loaded that image and other images and surprising thing is that it's working even with compositing on. Thanks
Thanks.
From the comments it's not clear to. Can you still reproduce this issue with the Plasma 5.23, or is it fixed now?
