Slide the effect window to the right to make it more open to see all options. Select with the "drop" a color by draw up a square.

I did use the dropper. It didn't work. The app no longer shows the dropper,
it's shows a square button. I did manage to get it to work by using a
different graphics setting for my monitor displays but- it still doesn't
work the way it did when I first used it. and it doesn't work the way it
works in the tutorials. The machine is a ASUS M32, Intel i7 4790s, 16gb
DD#3 ram, Nvidia Geforce GTX750 Graphics card. I am running Linux Mint 18.3
Sylvia. I tried upgrading to Mint 19, but ran into configuration issues.
My hunch is the Kdenlive app has a conflict with my Graphics driver.

Make sure your graphic driver is up to date and you switch off Movit/GPU acceleration.
Comment 4 Vincent PINON 2021-02-14 21:27:48 UTC
Same bug under 21.03.70 (basic or advanced chroma key)

Dragging a rectangle instead of click-pick works
Comment 7 Julius Künzel 2021-02-21 19:24:01 UTC
This is hopefully fixed now

The picker should be fixed in the daily build.

Please try with the Kdenlive_Nightly_Appimage
