Description Juraj 2019-03-15 10:52:57 UTC
SUMMARY
Hello, I am unable to clear the cache, to be more precise I am unable to load new CSS file after it was updated on server.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Go to Tools > Clear Recent History
2. Uncheck all and Check "Cache"
3. Press "Clear"

OBSERVED RESULT
Nothing, or at least my observed CSS file was not removed and the old version was still used next when I reloaded page.

EXPECTED RESULT
The CSS file is removed from Cache and new is downloaded

Comment 1 Juraj 2019-03-15 22:11:59 UTC
SO it turns out Falkon truly is unable to clear its own cache,
In the request in dev tools it says
> Status Code: 200 (from ServiceWorker)

Where can I check / browse things stored in ServiceWorker ?
Will Falkon be able to delete ServiceWorker cache soon ?
Comment 2 Juraj 2019-03-16 18:15:51 UTC
The way to "fix" this and update the cache of the service worker is:

- Open Dev. tools
- Go to "Application" tab
- Select "Application > Service Workers" on the left panel
- Check "Update on reload"
- Reload page

This is truly well hidden in Falkon.
