ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

is flatpak backend installed on your system?
does 'flatpak update' command find some update?
Comment 2 celsner 2019-03-14 12:30:45 UTC
I presume flatpak is installed.
At least Discover lists "Flathub - dl.flathub.org" in the Sources panel.

"flatpak update" listed two, which I then installed:
---
Looking for updates...
Installing in system:
org.freedesktop.Platform.GL.nvidia-390-116/x86_64/1.4 flathub ad2b4a7552f8
Updating in system:
org.freedesktop.Platform.GL.nvidia-390-77/x86_64/1.4 flathub 9a8ad807baa4
---

The systray icon subsequently disappeared. I presume the package count was thus corrected.

Would it be possible to implement some hint, or autotrigger such extra updates?

Best,
Christian
