Created attachment 118665 [details] screenshot STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. open system settings > display and monitor > scale display and set display scaling factor to 1.2 2. restart plasma 3. open dolphin and drag some file/folder OBSERVED RESULT As we can see in my screenshot, font of the file/folder name is badly rendered while the icon is dragged. EXPECTED RESULT font is rendered correctly. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.15.2 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.56.0 Qt Version: 5.12.1 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION I use Roboto fonts.
It's not just the font; the image itself is ugly too.

it's still reproducible on X11 session. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.20.90 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.78.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2
Still an issue. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. open system settings > display and monitor > set display scale to 125% 2. restart Plasma session 3. open dolphin and drag some file/folder Weirdly the bug does not occur if I skip the step 2. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.22.90 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.86.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 Kernel Version: 5.14.6-arch1-1 (64-bit) Graphics Platform: X11

Happens on Fedora 38 KDE spin also. One thing that seems to trigger is it if I have the F11 preview on and I play a video in the preview. Just having the preview sidebar open does not trigger it. May also have to do with these errors being spewed kf.coreaddons: "Could not load plugin from /usr/lib64/qt5/plugins/ffmpegthumbs.so: Failed to extract plugin meta data from '/usr/lib64/qt5/plugins/ffmpegthumbs.so'"
Cannot reproduce on Plasma 6 RC2. Operating System: Arch Linux KDE Plasma Version: 5.93.0 KDE Frameworks Version: 5.249.0 Qt Version: 6.7.0 Graphics Platform: X11
