Do you use Wayland? You have to know that Wayland is currently not working with fcitx.

maybe he does not speak well. If he answers I offered him the translation. 
His remark up to now is: fcitx does not work, but he did neither provide the distribution nor the server he is using. 
I can confirm that in opensuse Leap 15 (and I think in general, you will tell me) fcitx does not work with wayland. 
Please tell me if you are OK with it, and I will put me on the cc list to provide you in case with the necessary courtesy translation.

这个bug我提交了一个新版本,有相对详解的描述.最主要问题是Fcitx无法在kdevelop进行中文输入!非常的苦恼.我使用的是Linux Debian9 桌面环境使用Xfce.我怀疑可能Qt5.x后产生的问题.但是我编译了最新的动态库libfcitxplatforminputcontextplugin.so还是没有解决问题!我是Kdevelop的新用户,不知道旧版本是否正常使用.但是我确定排除我的系统造成的异常.所有应用能正常使用中文输入,唯独Kdevelop没有任何响应.这是我的折中方案:ibus输入法可以正常使用,但是唯一的缺点就是中文输入非常不友好.我现在状态是暂时使用其他IDE进行项目开发.

 I am a recent user of KDevelop, thus I am unaware if the old version should be working properly. But I am sure, that it does avoid the segfault caused by my system.
