android kdeconnect 1.12.6 problem still there + if you type a number then a symbol as for example "!" is displayed
I can confirm the behavior when switching to french keyboard layout on the desktop. The desktop receives the correct key and forwards it to libfakekey, which makes me think it is a bug in libfakekey
android kdeconnect 1.13.2 kde kde connect 1.3.5 no more problem since updating to plasma 5.17, kde framewoks 5.63.0, kde app 19.08.2 is a fix in kdeconnect or in kde i don't know.
That's odd since there was no relevant code change and I can still reproduce. This appears to be a generic problem with non-english layouts on the PC.

openSuse leap 15.2 kdeconnect kde 20.08.3 Samsung S7 android 8.1 kdeconnect android 1.15.1 No problem with Samsung S7 keyboard app. Problem with google keyboard app Gboard with some special symbols as "&". If you type "&" then nothing is displayed on PC screen.
