Ever since I updated to plasma 5.15.x, I no longer get an estimate of the time remaining. It seems to be related to the fact that I often plug in an external monitor. The widget shows a warning that the computer is configured to not suspend when the lid is closed when an external monitor is connected, and that shows when NOT connected to an external monitor if I disconnect the monitor when the computer is suspended. If I restart plasmashell, the warning goes away and remaining time is displayed.
Sorry, the report sounds strange because I wrote the first sentence before trying to restart plasmashell to see if I would get time remaining back when not connected to an external display. To be clear, time remaining seems to work when it doesn't think I'm connected to an external display. By the way, I would like to see an estimate even when connected to an external display, so why wouldn't it show then?
Is this still happening with Plasma 5.22 and the latest kernel?
I'll check when I'm back from holidays and have access to my external display.
