SUMMARY
Launch does not appear to do anything in a lot of cases. For instance, if I install Visual Studio code from the .deb package from their website, wait for it to complete and click "Launch" it does absolutely nothing.  But the app does launch and run just fine from the app menu.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Install app from website .deb file
2. Wait for it to finish installing
3. Attempt to launch

OBSERVED RESULT
Launch does nothing

EXPECTED RESULT
Launch, launches the application that was just installed or if its unable to do that it shouldn't show.
