SUMMARY I don't know how to better describe this... When I drag the lower timeline frame down, so that the video preview gets bigger, the position of the timeline frame seems to revert - to "spring back" to its original position. I've tried saving and loading the view layout. I loads my layout, but then reverts back to default after a few seconds. I've used Kdenlive in the past already and don't remember this behavior. Anything I could check/do to fix this? Thanks in advance :) STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Drag the timeline frame border up/down to resize the video preview. 2. Move the playcursor around in the timeline for a few seconds (~5-10). OBSERVED RESULT The frame layout reverts back to its initial position. The same revert happens after loading a layout. EXPECTED RESULT Keep the changed frame layout until I change it again (probably keep it even between restarts). SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Linux: Xubuntu 16.04.6, 64bit) * AppImage: v19.03.70 * MLT 6.13.0 * KDE Frameworks 5.51.0 * Qt 5.11.2 (built against 5.11.2) * The xcb windowing system
Thank you for reporting. Confirmed. Even in the refactoring version we have this “snap back” of the timeline. Solution see here: https://community.kde.org/Kdenlive/Configuration. Delete kdenliverc and kdenlive-appimagerc. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 404844 ***
