SUMMARY The cornerswidget (ex. frei0r.c0rners) GUI does not track correctly. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1.add c0rners effect on a clip (10 sec is enough) 2.create a small "window" near the top left of screen. 3.add keyframe at end of clip and reposition the corners near bottom right. OBSERVED RESULT when playing or stepping frames with the effect lines and markers in view, the position(s) of the "c0rnered" element is/are correct but the lines/markers drift progressively away from the element. The offset seems proportional to the magnitude of the displacement (cumulative rounding error?). On the last frame (or near the end where the offset is visible), if you try to move one of the markers, they all snap to their correct positions. The error is only in the GUI of the effect, if you position your corners on reference details of the background, the effect is composited at the right place, only the red lines and markers drift away... EXPECTED RESULT perfect match!... SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: MacOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: Qt Version: ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
18.12.1 and Refactoring AppImage: effect Corners, the red lines doesn’t match and are outside of the clip on the top and the left side of the clip. The distance between the clip and the red line is constant during movement.
All effects are updated in version 20.12. Please try with the current Kdenlive AppImage version 20.12.2 https://download.kde.org/stable/kdenlive/20.12/linux/
